Sulu Çözeltilerin Yangın Söndürücü Olarak Kullanılmasının Araştırılması

ÖZET: Sulu çözeltilerin yangın söndürücü olarak kullanılmasının araştırılmasıdır.

Materyal ve Yöntem: Çalışma çerçevesinde elde edilen yangın söndürme maddesi numuneleri ile yanan ya da yanma tehlikesi bulunan katı maddeler üzerine uygulandığında katı madde yüzeyinde film tabakası oluşturması suretiyle yanıcı gaz çıkışının engellemesi deneyleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan testler TS 862-7 EN 3-7 standartlarına uygun olarak yapılmıştır.

Bulgular: Yapılan bu testler sonucunda B sınıfı yangınlar için 113B, A sınıfı yangınlar için 13A testleri başarıyla sonuçlanmıştır. Ortaya çıkan ürünün maliyet etkin olduğu bulunmuş ve orman yangınlarında da kullanılmasının uygun olacağı öngörülmektedir.

Sonuç: Elde edilen yangın söndürme maddesi özellikle orman yangınlarında etkili olabilir.

ABSTRACT: The aim of the study is the investigation of use of water concentrates as fire extinguishers.

Methods: in the study, the samples of carbonates, perborates, chlorides and polyacrylates in various concentrations were prepared in the mixture of fire extinguishers. When the extinguishing agent samples are applied on solid matters which are burning or burning hazards, tests made to prevent the combustion of flammable gas by forming a film layer on the solid material surface. The tests were carried aut in accordance with TS 862-7 EN 3-7 standards.

Results: 113B tests far Class B fires and 13A tests for Class A fires were successfully completed.

Conclusion: it is envisaged that the product obtained is cost effective and can alsa be used in forest fires.
